Reporting & Appeals Policy
Effective date: 21 August 2026 · Last updated: 21 August 2026
WorldPetConnect provides mechanisms for reporting content believed to violate law or Platform rules.
A report should identify the relevant Post/profile/content, explain the reason for the report and provide enough information for WorldPetConnect to evaluate it.
For reports alleging illegal content, the reporting interface should request the specific URL or content identifier, an explanation of why the content is considered illegal, relevant supporting information and contact information where legally appropriate.
Submit a report through Contact support. Include the URL of the Post or profile, the reason for the report, and any supporting information.
WorldPetConnect will process reports in good faith and may request additional information.
We may:
- take no action;
- request a correction;
- restrict visibility;
- remove specific content;
- suspend a Post;
- restrict an account;
- temporarily suspend an account;
- permanently terminate an account;
- refer a matter to the appropriate authority where required or justified.
Where required by law, affected users will receive a reason for the moderation decision and information concerning available appeal options.
Appeals
A user may appeal an eligible moderation decision through Contact support.
An appeal should explain why the decision was incorrect and include supporting evidence.
WorldPetConnect will review the appeal using personnel or processes reasonably capable of reconsidering the original decision.
Where appropriate, a decision may be upheld, modified or reversed.
For moderation decisions subject to applicable internal complaint requirements, WorldPetConnect will keep the complaint route available for the applicable statutory period.
Abusive reporting, coordinated false reporting or deliberate misuse of the reporting system may itself violate the Terms.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
