Listing & Acceptable Use Rules

These Rules form part of the WorldPetConnect Terms of Service.

One Pet Per Post

Every pet Post must represent exactly one individual pet.

A litter or group of animals requires separate Posts for each animal.

You may not combine multiple animals into one Post in order to avoid Platform limits or publishing fees.

You may not place several animals in a photograph, collage, description or linked page in a manner intended to offer them all through a single Post.

Truthful Information

Posts must not contain materially false, deceptive or misleading information.

You must not falsify an animal's:

• age;
• breed;
• sex;
• vaccination status;
• health;
• pedigree;
• ownership;
• location;
• price;
• adoption or sale status;
• microchip information;
• documentation.

Sale and Adoption Categories

A pet offered for sale must not intentionally be misrepresented as an adoption.

A Post may not be placed in an incorrect category in order to circumvent rules, limits or fees.

Any adoption, rehoming or other fee mentioned by a user must be truthful and lawful.

Ownership

You must have legal authority to offer the animal.

Stolen animals and animals offered without legal authority are prohibited.

Animal Welfare

WorldPetConnect must not be used to promote animal cruelty, animal fighting, illegal breeding, illegal trade or activity that violates applicable animal-welfare laws.

Animals may not be offered where the transaction would violate applicable minimum-age, transport, health, licensing, species-protection or other legal requirements.

Protected and Illegal Animals

WorldPetConnect may prohibit categories of animals where trade, possession, transportation or advertising is illegal, restricted or presents unacceptable safety or animal-welfare risks.

Users remain responsible for local law even where WorldPetConnect has not technically blocked a particular category.

Misleading Pricing

You must not use a fake or materially misleading price to obtain enquiries.

You must not put contradictory pricing in images or descriptions for the purpose of evading Platform fields or rules.

Duplicate and Spam Posts

Users may not repeatedly publish identical or substantially identical Posts to manipulate search results or obtain additional visibility.

WorldPetConnect may remove duplicates.

Circumvention

You may not attempt to evade:

• One Pet Per Post;
• plan limits;
• image limits;
• account restrictions;
• moderation;
• payment requirements;
• verification requirements;
• suspensions;
• permanent bans.

External Links

Permitted business website and social-media links must genuinely relate to the business represented by the profile.

Links may not contain malware, phishing pages, illegal material or misleading redirects.

Links must not be used as a deliberate method of evading WorldPetConnect's Post limits.

Business Profiles

Businesses must accurately identify themselves.

Where a licence or registration is legally required, the business is responsible for maintaining it.

Falsified licences, altered documents or impersonation of another business may result in permanent termination.

Prohibited Conduct

Fraud, scams, impersonation, harassment, threats, spam, malicious software, illegal discrimination, exploitation, manipulation of Platform systems and unlawful content are prohibited.

WorldPetConnect may permanently terminate accounts involved in serious fraud, deliberate animal-welfare abuse or repeated circumvention.
